Principal's Message

My name is Ms. Velma E. Flores, and it is with immense pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the principal of Marcell Elementary. With 29 years of dedicated experience in education, I am thrilled to bring my passion and knowledge to our wonderful school community.

 

Over the course of my career, I have had the honor of serving in diverse roles, including elementary teacher, academic/testing strategist, and assistant principal. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping my commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for every student at Marcell.

 

As I embark on this leadership journey, I am filled with enthusiasm and optimism about the incredible potential that lies within our school. My dedication to Marcell Elementary is unwavering, and I am eager to collaborate with our exceptional staff, devoted families, and bright students to create an atmosphere of excellence. Together, we will work diligently to make Marcell Elementary one of the best schools in Mission CISD.

 

I firmly believe that a positive school culture is crucial for student success. I am committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
