• UIL Meet #3 Salinas Elementary - February 3^rd, 2024
• UIL Meet #4 Cavazos Elementary – March 02, 2024 *District Meet 

2nd-5th grade students who have passing grades, conform to school expectations for behavior, try out for and are accepted onto a team, and attend scheduled practices.  In some cases, a teacher may recommend that a first-grade student participate in UIL by practicing (and possibly competing) at the second grade level. These recommendations will be taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis.

 

Los estudiantes de 2º a 5º grado que tienen calificaciones aprobatorias, se ajustan a las expectativas de comportamiento de la escuela, prueban y son aceptados en un equipo y asisten a prácticas programadas. En algunos casos, un maestro puede recomendar que un estudiante de primer grado participe en UIL practicando (y posiblemente compitiendo) en el segundo grado. Estas recomendaciones se tomarán en consideración caso por caso.

 

Students will be chosen from each team by the event coach to compete at District Meets. Parents must agree to provide transportation to and from these events and to drop off and pick up their child at the assigned times. There is a limit on how many students per grade level and team that can compete. Coaches will choose competitors to represent Leo Marcell Elementary School based on skill, dedication, and comportment.

El entrenador del evento elegirá a los estudiantes de cada equipo para competir en las competencias del distrito. Los padres deben aceptar proporcionar transporte hacia y desde estos eventos y dejar y recoger a su hijo a las horas asignadas. Hay un límite sobre cuántos estudiantes por grado y equipo pueden competir. Los entrenadores elegirán competidores para representar a la Escuela Primaria Leo Marcell en función de sus habilidades, dedicación y comportamiento.
