myON & SMART Summer Readers

Hand holding the myON logo

Summer Reading Challenge begins May 31st - August 27th. A Kindle Fire tablet will be given to the Top myON Reader in each grade level (current PK-4th). Students who clock over 30 hours on myON will be invited to a Moon Jump Celebration in September. In order to accumulate time, students must make sure they close the myON books after they read them.

Students who do not have internet access are encouraged to complete their SMART Summer Reader log by checking out books from the public library. Logs will be due on the first day of school. The amount of books on the log will be calculated to determine if they meet the 30 hours of time spent reading to qualify for the celebration. Below is the link for the SMART Summer Readers Log. Logs are not required to be turned in if time spent reading was on myON.
