Meet the Counselor

My name is Sylvia Gonzalez and I am your School Counselor.  Please be assured that I am here to assist you and your child in any way.  I am only one phone call or email away.

My role as a School Counselor is to assist students develop academic, personal, career, social and emotional skills.  I work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and our community to nurture a positive and safe learning environment for student success.  

I assist students transition to a new school or grade level, divorce, remarriage, siblings, death, crisis situations, academic concerns, personal needs or concerns such as friendship, illness, stress, anxiety, and worry.

Students will receive weekly Guidance lessons and individual or small group counseling sessions as needed.  I am 100% committed for student success!
